The Musician Treatment Foundation (MTF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps provide free upper limb orthopedic care for eligible under- and uninsured professional musicians so they can maintain their livelihoods and keep the music playing for us all. Since 2017, MTF has assisted hundreds of musicians across the country with care valued at over $2.7 million through its own special nationwide Physicians for Musicians network of orthopedic surgeons. We support MTF and are part of Physicians for Musicians (P4M).
If you are a professional musician who does not have health insurance or has limited insurance like Medicaid or Medicare, you may be eligible for MTF assistance and referral to a P4M doctor. To request MTF assistance, please contact them at care@mtfusa.org.
